Hello, I'm a Helsinki-based photographer and visual arts professional. I studied photography at the New York Film Academy in New York City, and I've spent the past 30 years capturing people, moments, and spaces around the world.
I work as a photographer, educator, and spatial designer through my studios Laura Elo Photography and See and Feel. My background also includes a long international career at Marimekko, along with work in television productions, exhibitions, and publications.
Photography is, for me, a way to pause, look beneath the surface, and tell stories where silence finds its voice. I'm espeicially passionate about portrait photography - capturing presence, personality, and the essence of each individual.
